Our Headquarters

BSI Constructors headquarters is the City of St. Louis at 6767 Southwest Avenue within two miles of Highway 64/40 and less than a half mile from Highway 44.  This is our third location within the City since our founding in 1972, and has been our home since 1987.  Our building is 30,000 square feet and includes modern offices, conference rooms, a training room, a bid room, a cafeteria, and state-of-the-art amenities for our staff.  We also have a 22,000 square foot high-bay warehouse (with a 30-ton overhead crane) which we use for equipment & tool storage, project materials staging, and offsite fabrication.

 

Primary Market

The majority of our work is performed in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and its surrounding counties on both sides of the river.  We define our primary market is any location we can drive to in an hour or less. We believe that general contracting is a very local business and that there is no substitute for actually walking the site to make sure company standards are being met.  Directing most of our focus to projects we can visit regularly enables our senior management/ownership to maintain its hands-on attention on all of our projects. 

 

Other Markets

In addition to our St. Louis metro work, we have had very successful projects in markets just a little farther out such as Cape Girardeau, Springfield, Carbondale, Columbia/Jefferson City, and Iowa.  Occasionally, at the request of one of our existing clients, we will travel when our expertise is a good fit for their project.  In those cases, we can go anywhere in the U.S. and have actually completed work as far as the Cayman Islands.
