Project Spotlight - Courtyard by Marriott (Formerly Lennox Hotel)

The new Courtyard by Marriott, formerly known as the Lennox Hotel, is a 25-story historic hotel that has undergone a spectacular renovation.  This now new and stylish hotel is located on Washington Avenue and sits directly adjacent to the America’s Convention Center.  The contemporary décor found in the hotel blends nicely with the long-established details found within this historically significant building - thus creating a special and distinctive hotel experience.  

BSI performed all the construction management services throughout the duration of the project, and assisted in the replacement and updating on the hotel’s exterior and interior.  This process entailed relocating the buildings commercial kitchen, modernizing and renewing all guest rooms (to meet guest expectations and new code requirements), installing new windows, restoring and adding in state-of-the-art technology to all elevators, and completely overhauling all original electrical and plumbing.  Little redevelopment took place since this structure was originally a hotel in the past.  

In the end, comfort and beauty merge to create 165 oversized guest suites.  All rooms come with a bar/kitchenette area, full dresser, spacious bath, contemporary seating, luxurious bedding, and a wall-mounted flat screen television.  In the lobby guests can appreciate the bistro, bar, and home theater area (60” TV).   The business center is equipped for Hot Spot printing, and free WIFI is available throughout the hotel.   Upstairs you will find a fitness center and meeting/banquet rooms.
